Some things wrong with the Grammys: I can't list them all
At first, I associated the Grammys as America’s most sparkling and treasured awards show, with its golden gramophone, flashing lights, and star-studded list of attendees. Yet as I explored their pitfalls, especially regarding the anonymity of judges in the procedures, the piece taught me how to tie in humor as part of my voice— which also mixed well with the array of hard facts. Not lip gloss: How men can help with periods
There’s certainly a stigma surrounding those who menstruate and how open-minded they can be about their problems. However this lack of transparency is also an issue with men, and just because I had little knowledge on the scope of the matter (being in a family with mainly boys except for my mother), it didn’t exclude me from offering my opinion considering I conducted relevant research. I tried to let my personal moments and interactions with the issue drive the piece, including vivid, colorful details.
